It's GDPR Day

The day has finally arrived when GDPR regulations come in to force

GDPR is the new legal framework within the European Union (EU) which, as of today, has replaced the existing Data Protection Act 1998. The government have confirmed that the UK’s decision to leave the EU will not prevent the implementation of the GDPR. All organisations must be compliant within the GDPR framework.

We have also, as part of the Duncan & Toplis Group, appointed a dedicated DPO who can be reached via dpo@datcom.co.uk or 01476858888.

To reaffirm Datcom's position on data, we do not share our customer data without explicit authorisation from our customers and if we do have to share data, it will only be for the purposes of the contract and support.
